Recently I attended a Professional Learning Community training in Des Moines. This training prepared me to educate my colleagues about the PLC process, which we are implementing in fall of 2017. Below is the agenda from the October training.

On the observation form above, one can see my respect for my students, by greeting them daily as they enter my classroom. Also, by allowing choice in assignments, my students feel respected as the individuals they are. Below is a Powerpoint used to explain the Best Book of the Year assignment, which allows a high level of voice and choice. In addition to respecting my students, I respect staff by taking part in team building activities, learning experiences, and celebrations with my colleagues. Below is a copy of an invite for a baby shower that I planned for my colleague.

Exhibition nights are a great way for students, families, and staff to come together to celebrate student learning. Below is a program I designed for an exhibition night and a copy of a note sent home to communicate the expectations for this evening.
